This is the place for thoughtful self-employed people who are in a life, relationship, or career transition, and who want to live their truth.
To support you in your transition, I share information, pass on insight, and hold the space you need to create a life that is the natural expression of who you really are.
It’s difficult for me to explain my coaching “methodology” because I’m not a traditional coach, using one framework through which I take clients on a specific path towards a predetermined goal.
What we do together depends upon what you need in that moment.
When we are together, I simply open myself up to being of service to who you really are and what is best for the growth and development of your soul.
Over the last seven years I’ve coached clients through personal transitions, business strategy, employee/contractor management, relationships issues, sexuality, online marketing, tribe building, website layout and design strategy, online video, social media, personal development, life design, time management, financial strategy, investment strategy, and legal issues.
I use coaching tools you may be familiar with such as setting goals, creating plans, and designing systems to manage your time and money and energy, as well as other tools such as the Myers-Briggs Type Instrument, hand analysis, healing sessions, energy work, feminine-masculine energy distinctions (as a PAX license partner), and my experience as an attorney, financial planner, marketer, business owner, friend, lover, and mother.
Many times what people think they are coming to me for is very different than what we end up working on together. As we peel back the layers and go deeper, what emerges may surprise you.
My only objective is for you to get what you need so you can accept everything about yourself and be empowered to live your truth – whether that transformation comes from a specific coaching or consulting tool, or from me just holding space for you.
Here are thoughts from some of my clients, so you can better understand what it is like to work with me.
How is Elizabeth different than other coaches?
The combination of how open she is about her own ups & downs, her super smarts, and her fun/crazy/silly side is just a combo that can’t be beat. Most coaches have one of those qualities, sometimes two, but she has them all, and to me, that made the difference. A lot of people choose coaches that have this closed stuffiness about them, but she doesn’t. She’s the coach that I would be honored to ALSO have as my friend.
~ Jacqueline Carly (Fitarella)
Elizabeth has a knack for calling BS unlike anyone I’ve ever known. She knows when the emperor isn’t wearing any clothes and she has no compunction about saying it. I appreciate her courageousness – and her gentleness. Because having that knack could make her an ass, and she’s a LOT of things, but she is not an ass! She has a compassion for her clients that goes beyond brass tacks business coaching. I don’t know if it’s the “I-N-F” in her or what, but she has a sensitive awareness that I always looked forward to in our sessions.
The fact that she doesn’t talk a good game, she actually KNOWS from whence she speaks. She tracks metrics, and report results from first-hand experience, not from someone regurgitating data to her. She understands tech enough to explain it to a newbie, and hold an intelligent conversation – and let’s not forget how her legal “non-advice” saved my butt and my company a couple thousand dollars. I like working with smart people, and Elizabeth, is VERY smart.
Her empathy. She is also able to see the world in terms of both patterns and individual outliers. For example, we know men and women have different patterns of behavior based on their gender. So she showcases that in her coaching. At the same time, she highlights the subtle complexities of the individual human story instead of offering a ‘one size fits all’ solution to an issue or problem.
It feels like she balances on a line between coach and therapist. I know she doesn’t want to position herself at all as a therapist, but what I mean by that is she allows for more closeness with a client than a therapist would, yet she delves into deeper relationship issues than a coach would. She isn’t afraid to go into the dark spaces, but at the same time, she can easily dance between that and lighter places, too. It’s a more complex and deep experience to work with her.”

I liked how she gave us space to express ourselves and to talk. She didn’t impose any ideas on us but instead let our needs dictate the weekend.
Elizabeth is a coach that is real, she doesn’t put on airs and pretend like she has all of the answers. I love that she is on her own path of discovering her Truth and invites others to join her in the process.
What kind of space did Elizabeth create for you?
She creates an environment of trust. I don’t often disclose personal issues to people, so this was really important for me. By sharing some of her own relationship experiences, I felt like she met me halfway: in that way, it wasn’t like she had all the ‘leverage’ over me. Because she shared some of her personal experiences, it made me feel safer.
I also appreciate that she thinks very deeply about people in a similar way I do. So many books and coaches offer ‘canned’ solutions that aren’t that different than other mass market canned solutions. She sees the complexities of human beings and speaks to the more noble versions of ourselves, and also don’t paint things in simple black and white terms.

She’s no bullshit, but in a very caring way. The space she created felt safe, so I could have diarrhea of the mouth about all my shit, without worrying about her judging me. However, I also knew that she wouldn’t baby me, so while she gave me the room to unload, she always brought me back to the exact points I really needed to focus on. She also has an amazing ability to hone in on stuff that I talked about and give a fresh perspective that I hadn’t thought of before.
~ Jacqueline Carly (Fitarella)
She created a space for me to do what seems to come naturally for me, which is talk about a subject and figure out where I stand with it almost on my own, but with guidance by asking questions to help clarify things.
~ Skaja Wills
With her, I know where I stand. If she doesn’t know an answer, she’s honest about it – and willing to suggest ways to find the answer, or even help me find the answer. I never felt left in the dark on an issue. It’s a big reason I’ve kept following you for as long as I have. My only “complaint” about working through her programs is that her family was/is her first priority, and sometimes we had to wait for delivery of our training. But frankly, she was MODELING the exact behavior I wanted to incorporate into my own life, so it’s really not a complaint.
I always felt safe enough to talk openly and frankly about any issue in my life or business. And she knows her shit.
She is not afraid to admit when she is or has walked the very same road I’m traveling. Some people think they have to be one or two steps ahead and pretend like they’re miles beyond. She has never been like that in the time I’ve known her. I came to her for a few of the “wrong” reasons, but in the end, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
What worked for you about the way you worked with Elizabeth?
I really appreciated the regular calls. I needed a friendly, supportive voice that was REAL. I needed someone that was going to hold me accountable and not blow sunshine up my butt. I needed to know what would really work in my business and she was a brilliant help in all of those areas. I need to vocalize my concerns – and it helps me to hear an encouraging voice on the other end of the line. Email is useful and helpful, but that voice to voice (or face to face in the skype age) really helps me get the message more deeply. Plus the consistency of following up every week or so was very helpful. I needed friendly accountability. She delivered in spades.
~ Lisa Robbin Young (coached via phone)
As a busy person, and a very private person, email enabled me to communicate at my own pace and time, and retain privacy. It’s likely my partner would have heard any phone conversations with a coach, so email created a safe environment for me to discuss some of my relationship issues without hurting him in the process. Emailing you also helped me work out some of blocked areas simply in the writing of the email. Finally, as an introvert, it was much more convenient and safe for me without draining my energy via phone.
~ Name withheld to protect privacy, per client’s request (coached via email)
It was super easy to connect with you via phone, email & twitter. You never left me waiting a gazillion years and you treated me like I mattered. Our calls were really a treat for me.
~ Jacqueline Carly (Fitarella) (coached via phone and email)
The email format is wonderful, as it allowed me to work on my own schedule even if that meant 2 am.
~ Laura Lee Sparks (coached via email)
I really appreciated being able to meet up at different places in the city. It felt spontaneous and exciting. Especially at the time when I didn’t know my way around. I wish I could spend all of my weekends in that space.
~ Stacy Mayer (coached in person at LYTA)
What worked for me happened to be both formats, though there is more immediate feedback in person (or even over the phone/skype) because of vocal interaction, etc.
~ Skaja Wills (coached via email and phone, and in person at LYTA)
What did you get from coaching with Elizabeth?
She was my first coach. I picked her strategically because I knew her journey was applicable to me. So at first, I came looking to model her, to learn from her, more than really being “coached” per se. But in the process of learning from her, I was learning WITH her – which helped me to see more clearly what coaching really is: an evolutionary process with a guide. Working with her gave me courage to peel away some layers that had been foisted on me from my past. Layers I had dutifully taken on without regard to my own well-being. Working with her made me more courageous.
I’d never considered getting coached on relationship issues before, but I ran into several walls and issues of frustration in my marriage. I came to Elizabeth because I knew she had been trained in PAX partnership topics, and also because her “Live Your Truth in Partnership” series was so valuable to me.
Hearing her insights and knowledge about the way men’s and women’s brains differ, and how I can use this data to bring more peace and harmony into my relationship, was liberating. It helped me see there’s a better way than making my partner the enemy. I was able to start asking my partner to help fulfill my needs without it becoming an emotionally drawn out discussion. I was also able to quickly and clearly see the ways I may be emasculating him, and how I can easily shift those patterns on my own, without needing HIM to change.
I was enlightened as to the internal burden my partner may be carrying as a man: how fear of failure in various arenas could prevent action on his part. I also saw there are ways for me to heal my past criticisms of him so we can move forward with less baggage. It’s also important to note that I learned healing those criticisms doesn’t mean I don’t ask for my own needs to be met: it simply means I’ve learned there are better ways to communicate with our partners without making them feel 2 inches tall.

What I got out of the email coaching is validation and insight and accountability. I suspect that you would have probably sent the daily emails regardless of me replying, because I paid for the emails, however, the interaction actually helped me do the exercises, which is something I often don’t get around to doing.
With LYTA, the experience of going to places around SF helped solidify the experience. I did feel a bit self-conscious because I did so much talking, and touched on subjects in my life that bring up a lot of stuff for me. I think that helped, though. Both hand analyses I received through working with you pointed me in the direction of what I want to do with my work, which has become more clear in the weeks since then.
~ Skaja Wills
Every time I hear myself saying I “should” do something now, I don’t do it. Or I at least try to evaluate why it feels like a should instead of a want. I have been using that word as guide a lot lately actually.
I am still struggling with what it means to live my truth. I have been through a lot of changes even since the workshop. I think during the workshop, I was still struggling with “what is my truth.” And now I am finding myself more in the place of trying to discover what it might mean to actually live it.
Working with EPW through my biggest life transition, the death of my husband of 20 years, helped me to uncover so many truths that I have hidden for so long. I’m a big people pleaser and take care of everyone else before myself person and suddenly I had to focus on myself but had no idea where to even start.
Through the lessons and Elizabeth’s support, I was able to re-learn to love myself, be in the present, not take on everyone else’s crap and try to fix it but that it was ok to take the time I needed for me. The analysis were spot on and extremely helpful in digging into parts of myself that I hadn’t looked at (or wanted to look at for a very long time) and to do the work that needed to be done to finally move past them and know that they are part of what makes me who I am.
What are my options to get started with Elizabeth?
Option 1: Email coaching ($47/session)
In email coaching, you will email me a description of your situation with your questions/issues, and we will have an email back-and-forth discussion to help you gain clarity, find solutions, or determine your next steps.
This is for you if:
- You have a particular issue you want to address, or a question you need answered.
- You prefer the convenience and privacy of connecting via email.
- You would like time to give lots of thought to what you communicate with me.
Email Coaching session $47
Option 2: Myers-Briggs Step II type verification & coaching session ($125/session)
In the Myers-Briggs Type Instrument (MBTI) Step II type verification and coaching session, you will take the official MBTI exam online, then we will have a telephone or skype voice/video conversion to verify your type, to explain the dynamics of your type, and to give you clarity on how your MBTI type manifests in your life.
This is for you if:
- You find it difficult to manage your energy, keep on track, or communicate effectively with other people in your life.
- You are intrigued by your MBTI type and/or have taken the MBTI in the past and have been unable to verify your type.
- You would like to understand how your type manifests in your life, how to take advantages of your strengths, and how to recognize your blind spots.
Myers-Briggs Type II verification and coaching session $125
Option 3: Creating Space to Live Your Truth program ($797/program or $125/session)
The Creating Space program is designed as an eight session program (over 3-4 months) to create the space and support for you in your life so you can find and live your truth in your work and in your personal life.
This program may include MBTI type verification, hand analysis, and other personality and soul tools to give you clarity over your strengths, purpose, and blind spots. I may also give you a healing session to address wounds to your masculine and/or feminine energies.
We will conduct the sessions via phone or skype voice/video, at mutually convenient times, and after each session you will have assignments that we agree you will complete before the next session. You also have unlimited email access to me (I’ll be checking up on you regularly!).
This program is for you if:
- You are in a major life or work transition and want one-on-one guidance as you move through the process.
- You want a coaching program that is designed particularly for your personality, goals, and needs.
- You would like to work with me via both phone/skype and email, so we can keep in touch multiple times during the week (great accountability!) and be able to go really deep on the phone/skype sessions.
Creating Space – $797 One Payment
Creating Space – $125 for the First Session (paying for each session as you go)
Option 4: Live Your Truth Adventure + Creating Space ($1497/program)
The Live Your Truth Adventure is a three day retreat with me, one-on-one, in San Francisco. I can’t tell you what we will do during your program, because every program is different. During past LYTAs we have explored the streets of San Francisco, gone to museums, walked through botanical gardens, drank tons of tea and coffee, got our hands read, and learned how to do the flying trapeze.
The most important thing that happens during this program is that you are taken out of your day to day life into a space of serendipity, flow, and openness, so you can get reacquainted with yourself, feel clarity over who you are and what got you to this place, and get whatever you need so you can live your truth.
This program is in combination with the above Creating Space coaching program, so when you get back to reality you have the support to implement what you have learned and continue your transformation.
This program is for you if:
- You want an intensive experiential weekend to dedicate to your transformation, be in the flow, and have fun.
- You want to work with me in person, over three days, so we have the time and space to connect and go very deep into whatever you need to experience.
- You want the combination of a weekend retreat and a three month coaching program to implement the transformation into your life.
LYTA + Creating space – $1497
(Contact me using the below form if you need alternative payment arrangements, such as a payment plan.)
Option 5: Create Your Own Program ($tbd)
Perhaps none of the above options really fit you. Maybe you’d like a Creating Space program that’s all by email. Or you’d like to just do a one-time phone call. Or an extra long Creating Space program. Or to add some coaching to another program you’ve purchased from me (or a compatible program from someone else).
This program is for you if:
- What you need doesn’t fit into one of the above options.
- You need to talk to me to determine which program fits for you.
Just contact me describing your situation and what arrangement you are thinking would work for you, and we can set up a customized program just for you.
I’m pretty sure I own just about everything EPW’s ever offered – because she knows her stuff. She’s not selling watered-down infocrap to anyone with a pulse. Elizabeth cares about her clients making real progress toward their goals. And her business smarts are like a slingshot that makes you go further faster. If you get the chance to coach with Elizabeth, do it. Your life will be forever changed for the better. Mine was.

After years of working with various coaches and people on my business, I needed to shift internally and work on my personal life and growth. Elizabeth was the natural fit for this, and the first person to come to mind to help me with my growth as a woman. Her knowledge of relationships, gender studies, and her own experiences with growth illuminate me. I’m comforted in knowing that when I’m ready to push and grow again personally, I can continue to work with Elizabeth over the long haul.
~ Reese Spykerman, Design by Reese
I was ready to get started in social networking, but I did not want to waste my time in aimless ‘tweeting’ and Facebook-ing. Elizabeth taught me an organized, intelligent way to get more twitter followers, grow my expert status, and create a cohesive social networking strategy — attracting 1,400 twitter followers in just a few months. Elizabeth explains insider, underground, tech-y things in a logical and easy-to-understand way, unlike many of the so-called social networking gurus (you know who they are!) who are, frankly, more hype than substance. Many people say they can teach, but Elizabeth can actually do it!
~ Marcia Hoeck, My Breakthrough Business
Before using Elizabeth’s Money Tree system, I was trying to keep track of my business numbers the wrong way! I didn’t know what to track, how often, or what to do with the information after I had it. To make matters worse, my business was new and I didn’t have a feel for where my money was going or coming from, really. Now I’ve been following Elizabeth’s system, and every week like clockwork I know exactly where the money is, and what to do if it’s not coming in. It’s really liberating, and I’m so grateful to Elizabeth for putting this system together! It has saved me a lot of frustration and money.
Before I met Elizabeth, I was a published author and international speaker — but I was not making much money. One day my husband actually said “It would be so nice if you had a hobby that didn’t cost us so much money.” I was pissed! Until, I realized he was right. I paid no attention to the numbers. In fact, when I met Elizabeth I said “I hate numbers. I’m not good at numbers.” Elizabeth started teaching me her strategies for managing cash flow, including Money Meetings.
At first I resisted, but her system was so simple & easy I gave it a try. Using Money Meetings has revolutionized my business — in less than a year I went from an unprofitable ‘expensive hobby’ to over $100,000 a year! I now LOVE the numbers and LOVE my spreadsheets and feel like a CEO Rock Star Hot Mogul every time I sit down to do my Money Morning Money Meeting. Thanks so much Elizabeth, you are a Rock Star!
Elizabeth understands that being a mom entrepreneur is fundamentally different than just a small business owner. I’m so impressed with how Elizabeth is able to balance being home with her daughter with growing her ever-expanding company. She walks the walk and has personally helped me and several other successful mompreneurs I know apply complicated and technical information & strategies to best fit our businesses and lifestyles. I highly recommend working with Elizabeth.
~ Shari Criso, RN, My Baby Experts, The Birth Boutique
Elizabeth Potts Weinstein is my go-to person for anything to do with money and anything to do with online technology. Thanks to Elizabeth’s coaching, I am no longer intimidated by things like “cash flow projection.” I actually look forward to my Monday morning money meetings to help me stay on top of key numbers in my business. I’ve never yet asked Elizabeth a question she couldn’t answer in a way that helped me “get it.
Elizabeth has the gift of taking things I find complicated and putting them into bite size pieces that are easy for me to understand and put into action. Plus – Elizabeth is a great role model for creating a successful business that supports all the things that are important – family, finance, fun and personal growth.
Elizabeth is hands down on of the most brilliant, knowledgeable and generous coaches around. She’s saved me countless hours of precious time with her technical wizardry! She is full of life, integrity and priceless wisdom. I can’t recommend her enough.
What if I have questions about whether this is right for me?
I am not the coach for every person or for every situation.
If you’re wondering if I’m right to help you, my answer is … you already know. You either resonate with me and this work and what you read here … or you don’t. I can’t save you with magical fairies, I won’t tell you what you want to hear, and I’m not going to try to sell you or push you into anything … because I don’t get off on forcing anything on you. What gets me off is being of service to you, making a positive different in your life.
If you would like to discuss whether this makes sense for you – and if this is the right time for you – send me a message below.
I’ll help you figure out whether this unsure feeling you have is fear/resistance (and how to get over it) or if it means that a different person/program is better for you.
Talk to you soon!
