Welcome to one of the best cities on the planet. Your post reminds me of the way I felt the first night I was in my first apartment there (of which I had three). Just know, that if you do ever leave it, the city does not leave you. San Francisco refuses to let go of you once you’ve been in its arms. That’s just the way it is.

There’s something so special about being in a new living space — all the “what ifs” and excitement that comes with the new life you can craft in that new place. Congrats and enjoy this newness. SF is a lovely place to spend time (or to live, from what I’ve heard from friends who lived there — I’ve traveled there many times and am never disappointed).
