As many of you know, I’m writing a book. What you may not know, is (1) my book is due to the publisher on August 31st and (2) I’m starting to freak out.

Tuesday night, after 5 days of running a 102 fever and getting behind on my book, my blogs, and all my other work (much less feeling terrible), I had a short breakdown and actually cried in front of my 2-year old, who tried to console me by getting me a bandage and giving me multiple kisses. BTW, I cry like once a year, so this is a big deal.

My mastermind group, coach, and husband all said, Elizabeth, perhaps you need to Stop Everything until the book is done. So besides my radio show (out of my control) and client appointments already scheduled (too much guilt in canceling), I’m putting everything else on hold until the book is done.

What does that mean to you, my blog readers? Until the end of August, I may only blog occasionally — but don’t worry, come September I will be back ready to go!

Wish me luck!
