I do all 3 as well. I don't have childcare, but my son is in pre-school. I know sometimes there is guilt that I may spend too much time working when I should be playing with them, but my kids do play well on their own and isn't independant play good for them? I don't remember playing with my mom at all as a child, she was a WAHM, one of the originals I suppose. I had a good childhood playing on my own, with my brothers and with friends as I got older. I think now-a-days it seems moms are so obcessed with having to entertain their kids every second of the day and cram so many activies and learning things in they forget that is not how we were raised necessarily and we are, for the most part, ok. My kids are playing on the floor right now and my 4 year old is "reading" my 20 month old a book. LOL
