Founder & Attorney

Elizabeth founded EPW Small Business Law in 2012 to help her fellow small business owners find ease and simplicity in all of the legal requirements of owning a small business. She has been an online entrepreneur since 2004, founding various projects such as Potts Weinstein Financial Planning, Live Your Truth, and The Wealth Spa.

Elizabeth has been a licensed attorney since 2000, has a Master’s Degree in Human Behavior, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Studies. When not running EPW, she spends her time playing Civilization VI & The Sims, researching her family tree, learning to cook new foods, or hiking on trails with her teenage son or alone, on solo adventures.

Strategy & Operations Manager

Erika joined the EPW team in 2014, with a focus on business development and systems. Based in Denver, Colorado, Erika and her husband are digital nomads who have worked from multiple locations including France, India, Kenya, Guatemala, and Uruguay. With a diverse professional background in corporate communications, nonprofit management, and socially responsible investment analysis, Erika is passionate about EPW’s mission to help creative small businesses to grow and thrive.

Erika studied French at Vassar College and Intercultural Management at the SIT Graduate Institute in Vermont. As a part of her graduate degree, she spent a year in Benin, West Africa, promoting girls’ education in rural communities. In her free time, Erika is passionate about wildlife preservation, reading memoirs, British crime dramas & 1970s punk rock, and a stuff-free, adventure-full lifestyle.
